You need only claim the events of your life to make yourself yours. When you truly possess all you have been and done, which may take some time, you are fierce with Reality.
—Florida Scott-Maxwell

We each have an inner well-spring of stories to tell…stories about being lost and then found; about a moment of clarity or a night of dark despair; about illness and aging and what these conditions teach us; about meeting a new friend or losing our best; finding a sense of purpose or becoming disillusioned; about breakthroughs, personal renewal, or a moment of grace.

Come and write your stories... Take a dive into your own natural, spontaneous creativity to discover the adventurous trails, back roads, and golden highways of your life. Whether you are interested in memoir, storytelling, essays, or journaling, this weekend is a time and space for inspiration and integration. A time to retrieve some or more of your life’s essential stories; to mine them for the magic or the questions they still contain, and perhaps to heal and celebrate whatever still needs attention through the medium of your writing.

Beginners all…pilgrims on the path…we welcome you at whatever age or stage you are in your life’s journey or with whatever writing experience (or no experience) you may have.

Mary Angelon Young is a writer, storyteller and counselor. She has published eleven books, including biographies and explorations of the bhakti/tantric traditions of India, as well as more recent forays into novels of historical fiction/fantasy. With a background in Jungian studies, her passion for mythopoetics and wisdom traditions of the world blends with decades of pilgrimage in India and Europe in the company of her teacher, Lee Lozowick, to make her books and workshops a unique and enriching experience.

Regina Sara Ryan is a retreat director, writer and book editor. Author of numerous books, including The Woman Awake; Praying Dangerously; and the story of a south Indian saint, Only God: A Biography of Yogi Ramsuratkumar. Regina worked closely with her teacher, Lee Lozowick, for over thirty years. Drawing from her many years on the path, including her experience as a Catholic nun, Regina serves as a writing coach to young and old.
